Active Lab

Lab work, made down the road.

Active Lab is the digital dental lab behind Active Dental. Dentists can send us digital scans or refer patients to our clinic, and speak directly to the people making the work.

We design in exocad and Blender4Dental, mill on our Ivoclar PrograMill PM7 and Redon GTR, and 3D print on Asiga. We also scan patients with a DEXIS IS 3800W in our own clinic, so we understand digital work from both the clinic side and the lab side.

What we make

  • All-on-X

    Full-arch bridges on implants, both temporary and permanent.

  • Crowns and bridges

    Single crowns, bridges and crowns on implants.

  • Dentures

    Full and partial dentures, including titanium frameworks.

  • Custom devices

    Mouthguards, splints and other appliances.

Referring a patient

We can see patients directly for full dentures (when they have no natural teeth, roots or implants left) and for sports mouthguards. For partial dentures, titanium frameworks and implant dentures, the patient needs a prescription from their dentist confirming their mouth is healthy.
